I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s death. I truly enjoyed Marge during the time of my ministry in Tustin. She and all of you were wonderful to me – letting me crash at her house on Saturday nights, playing Mozart Sonatina Duets, being introduced to Gilbert and Sullivan, many talks, hanging out, and feeling part of your family. Her generosity in including me in the life of the Linton family was a rich blessing to me, and I treasure those memories to this day. My love to all of you.

Jessie Clark to Liz and family
Liz, my heart aches for you at the loss of your precious mother and I’m sorry not to have responded sooner. I was checking my e-mails daily looking for confirmation of her passing and it was not on the prayer chain. Last night Shawna alerted me that she saw it on facebook and showed me how to get reconnected. Now I have seen all the happy family pictures of great times together and Marge in the center of many of them! Marge always had a great smile and it seemed to be contageous. What wonderful pictures you have of her as you recall all the special times together. I would love to have known her better as she must have been a very strong person. Liz, as her only daughter I’m sure you had a very special place in her heart and was a blessing to her even as you have been to me on so many occasions. I, also was an only daughter with two older brothers so I know about that special bond! Even now I tear up whenever we sing her favorite hymns. Thank God for that blessed hope of one day being reunited together in Glory! May God continue to comfort and strengthen your faith in His Sovereign way in all things. I wish you joy and happiness as you see Garrett off to TCU in Texas as a new era in your life begins!! I hope to see you at the memorial service on Saturday. Love to all the Gastils and Lintons. Jessie Clark and Phil also sends condolences.
